Remember a few posts ago when I talked about getting back into running? Well, I started my running journey by participating in the 2015 Boston Athletic Association 10k this past Sunday (6/21). While a tough experience (for a few reasons), I LOVED it.
true life
my favorite tuna salad recipe
With summer only 4 weeks away (first day is my wedding anniversary, so easy to remember!) I’m getting in the mood for some light, refreshing meals.
I’m a sucker for a great tuna salad in general, and searched high and low for one that I liked to no avail. So, I decided to create my own! If you’ve got 5 minutes, you can make this. Great to do on those nights when you get home from work and want to eat healthy – but too exhausted to cook 🙂
getting back into running
It’s been awhile since I posted – between work, life and everything in between I’ve admittedly neglected the blog. However, I’ve kept up with being active and eating (somewhat) well, so I don’t feel like a complete lazy bum. One big event did happen since my last post – the 2015 Boston Marathon.
the club by george foreman III review
Work and pleasure collided last week when I got the opportunity to try a class at The Club by George Foreman III in Boston (Fort Point). I belong to a networking organization through my job in the advertising industry known as BIMA (Boston Interactive Media Association). They host a ton of great events in Boston for people who work in the advertising industry and recently kicked off a new series called “Get Fit with BIMA”.
